The Los Angeles-based pop music duo The Chainsmokers are already spreading their own stardom in the neighboring sunny state of Nevada as they are set to DJ into the night thanks to their exclusive three-year deal with Wynn Nightlife. Since 2017, the Wynn has had full access to entertainment from The Chainsmokers’ members Alex Pall and Drew Taggart inside of its properties at XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club as the only intimate club spots where the Grammy-nominated, chart-busting duo will perform during all of 2018 and 2019.

The Chainsmokers' Alex Pall and Drew Taggart Aim to Win at the Wynn

Las Vegas has long been the location for long-term music residences, first by the likes of the legendary singer and pianist Liberace during the 1940s and then by Frank Sinatra and his Rat Pack cronies Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin during the 1950s. The Vegas Strip has continued to be the bright spot historically for music lovers to catch continual shows from Prince, Cher, Elton John, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men, Carlos Santana, Cee Lo Green, Bette Midler, and Guns N’ Roses.

The Chainsmokers now join the storied history and rich legacy of highly-paid performers that have boosted the excitement levels of Nevada natives, and the millions of tourists that pour into Las Vegas in droves. There are plenty of concert locations that hold Las Vegas residencies: The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, The Mirage, Venetian Theatre, MGM Grand Garden Arena, and the Mandalay Bay Events Center. But the Wynn Nightlife scene oozes plenty of young, hot sex appeal and adrenaline to make it a must-visit destination.

XS Nightclub is located on the Las Vegas Boulevard. The hours of operation typically running from 10:30 p.m. until they close on Fridays and Saturdays. To come enjoy The Chainsmokers at XS Nightclub, be sure that your outfit fits into the upscale casual mold, because athletic wear, sneakers, hats, shorts, baggy jeans, jeans with holes, and flip flops will immediately get you sent back to wherever you came from. At the XS Nightclub in 2018, The Chainsmokers are sharing an eclectic calendar of prestigious EDM, House, and Dance music with mainstay producers and DJs. They are being slotted into a super roster that features Diplo from Florida/Philadelphia, David Guetta from France, Afrojack from the Netherlands, Black Coffee from South Africa, Marshmello from Philadelphia, and Jauz from California.

Nearby, at the Wynn’s Encore Beach Club, The Chainsmokers get to rock crowds along with the likes of Flosstradamus from Chicago, Alesso from Sweden, DJ Snake from Paris, Cheat Codes from Los Angeles, and Kygo from Norway. Encore Beach Club is open during a wider array of hours than the XS Nightclub, naturally because there is the opportunity to swim. Enter the social scene over at Encore on Fridays from 11am-7 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sundays from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Make sure you are well acquainted with the proper attire that is required before you enter. There is absolutely no: jeans, basketball shorts, baggy clothing, ripped/stained clothing, see-through bathing suits, clothing with hooks/studs/rivets, athletic gear, offensive prints, torn or cut-off garments, chains, or undergarments worn for swimming.

The Encore Las Vegas that houses Encore Beach Club and XS Nightclub is an awesome environment for both old and new fans of The Chainsmokers to experience their party-starting energy and hit-making musical mastery. This Las Vegas resort offers an 80,000-square-foot casino, 60,000 square feet reserved for conventions, and 27,000 square feet of retail space filled with many restaurants, bars, a spa and salon, and the XS Nightclub itself. Speaking of the XS Nightclub, if you get the opportunity to turn it up to the tunes played by The Chainsmokers during their Wynn-related residency, you will be making memories in a spacious 40,000 square foot venue with indoor and outdoor areas that can accommodate 3,000 guests. The interior design was inspired by the vivacious curves of the human body and includes a rotating 10-foot chandelier high above the heads of club-goers to keep you hypnotized by the vibes.

Wynn Magazine spoke to The Chainsmokers directly to gauge the excitement that the group felt to have their first music residency take place in Las Vegas at Wynn Nightlife’s XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club. Alex Pall said:

“Honestly when dance music was blowing up Wynn Nightlife had been onto it for a while…We just loved dance music and wanted to be a part of it…we realized how special it is to get to play in Vegas and how amazing a property like the Wynn Resort is. A good example would be the way they maintain the celebrity status. We would always be getting text messages from other artists being like “Yo, we’re in town!” We’d be like “Dude, come through.” And they’d be like “Alright, we’re just gonna go to XS.” Wynn and XS and Encore Beach Club and all the people there, everyone is so great.”

Alex Pall’s partner Drew Taggart has been equally thrilled when he spoke to Wynn Magazine:

“Playing at a club is a more laid-back environment and it’s definitely one we’re more comfortable with just because it’s how we came up. It allows you to look around the room and you can actually make eye contact with people. You get a very different feel from the room than you would playing to a massive festival crowd. We change our sets to appeal to that. Also, playing in Vegas especially, everyone is there to have a good time. So we play some stuff that we probably wouldn’t play anywhere else.”

If you have never been to Las Vegas, now you have an amazing reason to bring your designer sunglasses, swanky fashion statements, and your closest all-night party people and plan a vacation to “Sin City” to experience the large and in charge festivities at XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club, courtesy of The Chainsmokers.
